A Bathroom That Didn’t Fit Its New Owners
After purchasing their Wyatt Farms home, the homeowners were ready to rethink an outdated master bathroom. The existing layout devoted too much space to a tub they didn’t use, while the features they wanted most were missing.
Space tied up in an unused tub: The old soaking tub occupied valuable room that could serve a better purpose.
A shower that fell short of their needs: They wanted a generous walk-in shower with two shower heads and a handheld shower.
A room ready for an update: The double vanity and dated finishes needed a fresh look, along with better use of the space for storage.
Designed Around Their Daily Routine
Our approach focused on giving the homeowners more room for the features they would use every day. Removing the soaking tub and the window above it made way for a spacious walk-in shower with two shower heads and a handheld shower. An updated double vanity and a new storage alcove made better use of the remaining space.
Through our comprehensive design process, the homeowners worked with our cabinetry, tile and flooring, and paint design partners to bring their selections together. Each choice—from the shower tile to the vanity color—was considered as part of the whole room.
The result is a cohesive, modern design that balances practical improvements with personal style. Neutral flooring and gray shower tile set the stage for the Blue Onyx waterfall feature, while the blue vanity carries that color throughout the space.
Details That Made the Difference
Replacing the unused soaking tub made room for a generous walk-in shower with two shower heads and a handheld shower. The new layout gives the homeowners more space for a feature they use every day.
More Room for the Shower They Wanted
The Blue Onyx waterfall-style tile brings movement and color to the shower. Surrounding Lava Matte rectangular and mosaic tile gives the feature a balanced, neutral backdrop.
A Sweep of Blue
The updated blue double-sink vanity carries the shower’s accent color into the rest of the bathroom. It gives the homeowners the refreshed look they wanted while creating a visual connection between the room’s main features.
A Vanity That Brings It Together
The custom rolling glass shower door adds a refined finish while keeping the tilework in view. Its clean lines complement the room’s modern design and let the Blue Onyx feature shine.
A Custom Finishing Touch
A Bathroom That Feels More Like Their Own
The finished bathroom is better suited to the homeowners’ routines and reflects their personal style. A spacious walk-in shower replaces the tub they didn’t use, while the updated double vanity and additional storage make the room more practical.
Coordinated finishes, a sweep of blue tile, and custom shower glass bring everything together—giving these homeowners a fresh start in their recently purchased home.
